These rules apply when you use our website Guldviva.com and buy our jewellery and associated products from Guldviva.

HOW TO BUY FROM US To buy from us, you must accept these rules and terms of purchase. You do this by creating an account or providing information at checkout. You must be at least 18 years old and it must be legal for you to use our website and receive our products.

PRIVATE INFORMATION Your username and password are confidential. Make sure that no unauthorised person can access them. If you suspect that someone knows your login details, you must change them and notify us immediately.

PERSONAL DATA We protect your privacy and comply with Finnish data protection laws. We use your information to manage your purchases, improve our products and provide you with offers. We may send offers and information to you by email, SMS or post.

ORDERS When you order something from us, we will send you a confirmation. We may refuse an order if we suspect fraud, if we do not have the product, or if there are technical errors.

PAYMENTS

DELIVERY We send your products to the address you provided at the time of purchase. Delivery time may vary. You are responsible for receiving your products and ensuring that the delivery address is correct. Here you can find information about our delivery times

DELIVERY DELAYS Should a delay in delivery, deviating from the delivery times stated here, occur due to circumstances caused by us or by our contracted shipping partners, you always have the right to cancel the purchase.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL If you regret your purchase, you have 14 days from receiving your order to notify us. A refund will be made after we have received proof that the products have been returned to us, and the refund will generally be made in the same way as the customer’s payment was made. RETURNS FOR WITHDRAWN PURCHASES You pay for the return shipping and the products must be unused.

TRANSPORT DAMAGE If your shipment is damaged in transit, you have the right to make a complaint about the purchase. Contact us in accordance with the instructions for complaints below.

COMPLAINTS You have the right to make a complaint about your purchase if the product is faulty, damaged, or if we have not met the delivery times we have stated here. If you notice that any of these criteria are met and you wish to make a complaint about a purchase, you should contact us as soon as possible.

Explain clearly to us what is wrong with the product or what has caused the complaint. If you do this within two months, it is considered to be within a reasonable time. But remember that you cannot make a complaint about a product more than three years and two months after you bought it.

We will handle your complaint promptly and, if the complaint is approved, we will cover the costs associated with the claim, including the return of the product. However, we will not reimburse costs incurred on the customer’s own initiative.

Refunds are made after we have received proof that the products have been returned to us, and refunds are generally made in the same way as the customer’s payment was made

FORCE MAJEURE If something happens that we cannot control, such as war, natural disasters or technical problems, we are not liable for failing to fulfil our obligations.

COPYRIGHT All rights to our products belong to us.

LIABILITY We are not liable for any losses or damages that arise when you use our website or our products, unless they are caused by our mistake.

UPDATING THE TERMS We may change these terms at any time. The new terms take effect immediately after we have published them on our website.

We make all our jewellery ourselves in our workshop on Åland. Since we do everything ourselves and are based on a small island without a fixed connection to the mainland, it is difficult for us to maintain delivery times as fast as those that larger brands may be able to offer. However, we ourselves believe that our jewellery is worth waiting an extra day for, and if you are buying a gift, our gift wrapping is always very carefully done and much appreciated.

Our delivery times are as follows:

• To Sweden 2–7 days (usually 2–3 days)
• To Finland 2–7 days (usually 2–4 days)
• Other EU countries 4–10 days (usually 5–7 days)
• International 5–15 days (usually 7–10 days)

If you need a gift by a certain date, you can always contact us to verify that it will arrive in time.
