Works of art through encounters
Poetry in silver and silk
Together, photographer Tiina and Guldviva’s founder Maria have created unique silk art scarves with Åland motifs and elegant scarf jewellery in silver.
Tiina Tahvanainen is the Åland freelance photographer who is a master at conveying moods in her images, lifting the small but important things in life and showing the rest of us the beauty of the genuine and unaffected.
Maria Karlström, Guldviva’s head goldsmith, sees jewellery where no one else does. In the roadside verge, flying between the blades of grass, on the edge of the jetty,
swimming in the sea.
The art scarves come with Guldviva’s stylish scarf jewellery, rings in 925 sterling silver that further enhance the exclusivity and give the works of art extra sparkle.
A classic created in a new form
Guldviva’s head goldsmith and founder, Maria Karlström, has, together with interior architect and former goldsmith Ronny Illman, also created an art scarf with the motif of the Åland classic BLOMMAN™.
Ronny Illman is a Finnish interior architect and former goldsmith at Guldviva. He creates joy through his artistic work, whether it is jewellery, scarves or interior concepts.
In this encounter they have brought out the much-loved BLOMMAN™ in a different way than we are used to seeing it – namely in silk! To adorn this beautiful pattern there is, of course, a matching scarf ring from the same well-remembered series – BLOMMAN™.
