Glory is an earring in the classic goldsmith tradition, with a design that radiates both timelessness and a maritime connection, while giving the traditional an extra little golden touch.

The frame of the piece is the maritime rope that is so synonymous with seafaring. Tied in a half RÅBANDSKNOP (Reef Knot), it naturally embraces the stormy sea. In the sea of the piece dwell wild waves crowned by a set brilliant whose pinpoint light resembles the lighthouse that many seafarers have longed to catch sight of between the wave crests on the horizon, finally realising that they will soon be in a safe harbour.

Crafted by goldsmiths in Finland

All our jewellery is handmade by trained goldsmiths in our own workshop in Åland, Finland. Every piece is created from 100% recycled metal.

Where does my jewellery come from?

Åland – a tranquil island in the Baltic Sea, between Finland and Sweden. Here, in the beautiful Maritime Quarter in the heart of Mariehamn, you’ll find both our store and our workshop.

Guldviva was born in Åland in 1989 and has always kept its production here. For us, it has been important to have full control over the entire process, where jewellery making and sales go hand in hand. This way, we can ensure the highest quality and offer personal service. With us, you always know where your jewellery comes from – right here in Åland.
