"For a long time I have wanted to design a piece of jewellery with a strong connection to Åland. The seeds that the linden tree releases in autumn look like a sail with a stalk with seeds. To me it is a bit like the Ålanders who often dare to set sail and throw themselves into the wind, many times with good results."
