Slow jewellery: What is it?
In a world obsessed with speed, where trends rush past at a furious pace, Guldviva stands for something different.
We believe in Slow Jewellery – jewellery created with care and consideration, meant to be loved and worn for generations.

Sustainable materials & timeless design
The use of good, carefully selected materials is also a hallmark of the concept of “Slow Jewellery”. In the Slow Jewellery industry, you should choose materials with as little environmental impact as possible, such as recycled metal, for example.
Another important ingredient is the design of the jewellery, and that it is timeless. As mentioned, these pieces are meant to be worn for a long time, and should still remain stylish despite the rapidly changing trend hysteria we live in today.
There are many other important factors within Slow Jewellery that are worth mentioning, such as avoiding mass production of jewellery, maintaining an ethical and good working environment in the company, and ensuring fair and correct pricing. All of these elements are part of Guldviva’s core values – to create jewellery you can wear, love and that will remain important to you for a long time!

BLOMMAN™
Slow jewellery in a single piece
Our popular BLOMMAN has been in bloom for over 30 years, and was created with the mindset that it should last forever.
BLOMMAN™ is for us a symbol of joy, happiness and the beauty in the small but self-evident things. Every BLOMMAN is handmade, using two pliers, 5 bends, and by one Maria Karlström, Guldviva’s founder, head goldsmith and “BLOMMAN™ inventor”, who during the autumn and winter months bends BLOMMAN pieces until the pliers glow, so that the meadow can blossom next summer as well, and the summer after that.
