In Ålandshjärta we have shaped an embracing silver heart that frames a polished piece of red granite from Åland. The granite’s glossy surface and warm shade capture the feeling of sun-warmed cliffs and salt-sprayed summers.

Did you know that Åland’s bedrock consists largely of red granite? That’s why both the cliffs and the gravel have their characteristic reddish tone.

Where does my jewellery come from?

Åland – a tranquil island in the Baltic Sea, between Finland and Sweden. Here, in the beautiful Maritime Quarter in the heart of Mariehamn, you’ll find both our store and our workshop.

Guldviva was born in Åland in 1989 and has always kept its production here. For us, it has been important to have full control over the entire process, where jewellery making and sales go hand in hand. This way, we can ensure the highest quality and offer personal service. With us, you always know where your jewellery comes from – right here in Åland.
