The ALANDICA piece was created at the request of the long-awaited new culture and congress centre in Mariehamn, Alandica. Water is, as always, ever-present in Åland, and the view from Alandica contains a large portion of water. The inspiration for ALANDICA is the small ripples on the waves, the glints of sunlight and the movement.

As all jewellery is handmade, the size may vary slightly.

All our jewellery is handmade by trained goldsmiths in our own workshop in Åland, Finland. Every piece is created from 100% recycled metal.

Where does my jewellery come from?

Åland – a tranquil island in the Baltic Sea, between Finland and Sweden. Here, in the beautiful Maritime Quarter in the heart of Mariehamn, you’ll find both our store and our workshop.

Guldviva was born in Åland in 1989 and has always kept its production here. For us, it has been important to have full control over the entire process, where jewellery making and sales go hand in hand. This way, we can ensure the highest quality and offer personal service. With us, you always know where your jewellery comes from – right here in Åland.
