The apple as a symbol is associated with a variety of different things. A symbol of knowledge. A declaration of love. In its round form, the apple also symbolizes wholeness.
A thick silver wire forms the base of each apple. The wire is shaped and forged. One apple becomes a little larger and one a little smaller. The appearance varies from apple to apple, just like in nature. Each apple is unique. All are beautiful.

Where does my jewellery come from?
Åland – a tranquil island in the Baltic Sea, between Finland and Sweden. Here, in the beautiful Maritime Quarter in the heart of Mariehamn, you’ll find both our store and our workshop.
Guldviva was born in Åland in 1989 and has always kept its production here. For us, it has been important to have full control over the entire process, where jewellery making and sales go hand in hand. This way, we can ensure the highest quality and offer personal service. With us, you always know where your jewellery comes from – right here in Åland.
