A wonderfully shiny daisy that delights both the wearer and the observer. The piece is relatively large and very decorative on the neck.

The oxeye daisy is often associated with enduring love, patience, beauty, and innocence. A true love classic in many midsummer wreaths, it is closely linked to the rhyme “Loves me, loves me not,” where you pluck the petals one by one from the daisy while alternately saying “loves me” and “loves me not.” According to legend, the last petal reveals whether the object of your affection or admiration loves you. (Often, however, people keep going with the rhyme until the answer is the one they want.)

Our DAISY necklace isn’t one you can pick petals from, but it makes a wonderful gift for someone you hold dear.

Where does my jewellery come from?

Åland – a tranquil island in the Baltic Sea, between Finland and Sweden. Here, in the beautiful Maritime Quarter in the heart of Mariehamn, you’ll find both our store and our workshop.

Guldviva was born in Åland in 1989 and has always kept its production here. For us, it has been important to have full control over the entire process, where jewellery making and sales go hand in hand. This way, we can ensure the highest quality and offer personal service. With us, you always know where your jewellery comes from – right here in Åland.
