During the summer of 2010, a 200-year-old shipwreck was discovered by divers in the southern Åland archipelago. In the cargo, there were 168 bottles of champagne but also five bottles in brown glass containing a foaming dark beer.

Where does my jewellery come from?
Åland – a tranquil island in the Baltic Sea, between Finland and Sweden. Here, in the beautiful Maritime Quarter in the heart of Mariehamn, you’ll find both our store and our workshop.
Guldviva was born in Åland in 1989 and has always kept its production here. For us, it has been important to have full control over the entire process, where jewellery making and sales go hand in hand. This way, we can ensure the highest quality and offer personal service. With us, you always know where your jewellery comes from – right here in Åland.
